Finally, Jet Airways makes good free co-branded credit cards for ‘Wheel of Fortune’

It seems every now and then, corporates require a little push and pull to be reminded about promises they have made to customers. While it took a while to remind Jet Airways that it had promised the members of its frequent flyer program Jet Privilege, free first year membership to their new co-branded credit cards, it now looks like the nudging is working.

Some members who selected HDFC Bank as the co-branded credit card partner of Jet Airways, have reported to have received these emails over the past couple of days:

While the 1,000 JP Miles were already credited to these member accounts in August 2012 (check your account), it seems 9W took a long while before working out the commercials with the Bank (which eventually collects the fee from the customer!).

Anyways, check your mailboxes and spam folders to look out for this email, and feel free to apply for the HDFC Bank Jet Airways CC. I’m half way through to my Rs. 75,000 spend already, and the miles are rolling in quickly! Winking smile

  1. I noticed getting a Tier point from HDFC spends (apart from 5K miles spend bonus). I haven’t crossed the 200K spend mark yet, has anyone else noticed the same?

  2. @AJ I finally got my Jet vouchers after being a little persistent with the HDFC team. The trick was to send secure message via netbanking rather than breaking head with customer care over phone. The vouchers come directly from Jet via email.

  3. Good to know they are finally honouring the promise. BTW did you get the free voucher codes promised with the card. HDFC insists these won’t be given to members whose fee was waived. One sweet thing HDFC has done is given me a payment holiday for 6 months which is excellent. Not sure if its a part of Jet card deal. But now, I don’t have to think twice before charging everything on HDFC for now.
