Spot the mistakes [and win a prize!]

Last week sometime I was at the Mumbai Airport, and I happened to notice the e-ticket printing machines installed there. Like you know, to access an Indian airport, you need a printed itinerary (not an electronic one, but a paper copy!). Now, here is a picture of all the options presented at the machine:

Now, there are at least 3 mistakes on this board, there could be more! And remember, this picture was taken before Kingfisher was officially grounded by the DGCA!

  2. I found 11 mistakes with the board:

    1. Air France logo is wrong. It’s the old one. The new logo is different

    2. Qantas doesn’t fly from Bombay any more.

    3. Turkish Airlines logo is old (red-on-white). The new one is white-on-red.

    4. Kenya Airlines logo is cut off- doesn’t have the swirly K symbol

    5. Air Arabia logo is old- new one is white on red and has no symbol.

    6. Malaysia Airlines logo is wrong – it should be red-and-blue pointing right – this is red-and-grey pointing left.

    7. Royal Jordanian logo is wrong.

    8. Continental is no called United

    9. Iran Air logo has bird pointing the wrong way – it should point to the right – not the left as shown.

    10. Saudi Arabian Airlines is now called “Saudia” with a different logo etc.

    11. Swiss logo is wrong.

  3. Throwing around some random thoughts:

    1. United, not Continental
    2. Saudia, not Saudi Arabian
    3. KF – still flying? really? lol
    4. Jet – just thinking, they charge Rs 50 or something like that for a printout of the ticket. How would they effect that on this interface?
    5. Only a few cases have their alliance indicated…why’s that??? tons missing !

  4. 1)CO merged with UA – still listed as CO on screen
    2)SV changed name from Saudi Arabian to Saudia
    3)Still lists QF despite the fact that they have not operated to BOM since May.

  5. Here are the three mistakes:
    1. MH colors are off, they have changed.
    2. Continental Airlines now operates as United, so that is incorrect.
    3. Saudi Arabian operates as Saudia, so thats incorrect as well.

    Kingfisher is now grounded. License is suspended by DGCA.
    Malaysia Airlines colors are not correct.

    1. Continental Airlines ceases to be anymore as operations are now under United Airlines. Hence the logo of Continental Airlines changed.
    2. Kingfisher Airlines license has been suspended by DGCA, however earlier this year they have stopped international operations. Hence logo needs to be removed.
    3. Saudi Arabian is now operating as Saudia. Hence logo needs to be changed.
    4. Livery and Color of Malaysian Airlines has changed. Hence logo needs to be changed.
