Get the free Hilton Gold status for your stays in Hilton across India

The Hilton HHonors Gold status is one step below the Hilton HHonors Diamond status, but has most of the same benefits as the Diamond status. Here is a quick recap of Hilton Gold benefits:

The key benefits are really the space available upgrades which can be good at some hotels, (I was upgraded to a Junior Suite in Washington DC once), and the complimentary breakfast, which is again hit and miss (some hotels offer a full breakfast as well, some would only do bread and juice – as in, real continental breakfast)

Hilton has been offering a free upgrade to Hilton Gold for people who have a Visa Infinite credit card, residing within Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa or Central Europe, and will continue to do so till 31 May 2013. (Asia Pacific denotes Australia, Hong Kong, China, Korea Singapore, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Philippines)

Visit this website and create a credit card number, using the Visa Infinite series. All you need is to replace the first 6 digits with 4119 45.

After you have a valid number which is accepted on the database, you need to input your Hilton HHonors details and you will instantly be upgraded.

Hilton has a range of hotels in India, including a lot many in Delhi, and quite a few in other metro cities (Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai). You could look at the directory here. Too bad they had to let go off their name from the iconic Mumbai Nariman Point property which is now a Trident.

Even if you have a stay or a few planned at the Hilton brands in the coming year (and booking directly with the hotel chain), this is a good thing for your benefit. Additionally, you could status match later with some hotel chains using this status.

  1. Well that’s weird… When I enter in the CC# it says it is valid, but when I enter my login and password and hit submit the page just reloads. I’ve tried on two browsers and I still get the same result. My Gold status expired a month ago so I do not have Gold right now.

  2. Thanks for blogging about this offer.

Worked like a charm with my ICICI Jet Airways Sapphiro Visa Card (Visa Signature).

  3. I was in the Doubletree Kuala Lumpur. Was upgraded to a room on the Executive Floor as a Gold member, and was told that suite upgrades were only granted to Diamond members. Oh well!

  4. All the major air and hotel chains read this and all the other travel blogs. The information is out on the open. And they can make changes instantly at their discretion.

So, instead of being judgmental and pious, consider that Holton makes money if you hook with them even if they give you Gold. A filled bed adds to their bottom line vs. no Hilton revenue when you stay elsewhere.

So tired of hearing all the righteous ones pontificating when they themselves still troll all the blogs for tips daily.

It’s Sunday. So why exactly are you here instead of in church?!
