Get set for Hyatt’s ‘New Possibilities’ and 50K GP points giveaway

A promotion from Hyatt is always looked forward to, especially when it gives me the opportunity to run a giveaway for all of you. Just last week, Hyatt announced their New Possibilities promotion for the Fall season, which runs between September 9, 2013 and November 30, 2013.

The promotion is designed in a manner to increase your count of nights with the Hyatt brands. Once you complete your first 5 nights during this promotion period, you get a 5,000 GP points bonus. On completing 10 nights, you get another 10,000 GP points bonus, and so on till 20 nights.

You can register for the promotion between September 9, 2013 and October 31, 2013, and stays upto November 30, 2013 will count. For those of you who stay at the new tie-up with M life, those nights count as well.

And to help some of you get some additional Hyatt Gold Passport points, they also gave me a small stash of 50,000 Gold Passport points to share with all of you.

Giveaway details

The Prize: In the spirit of the promotion, I will distribute 4 sets of points to 4 different participants. You could be winning either one of the four set of points:

    • 5,000 points
    • 10,000 points
    • 15,000 points
    • 20,000 points

The Contest: It is a simple question you need to answer: Which is your favourite Hyatt property around the world?

Modes of Entry: I have no problems if you want to enter the contest multiple number of times, but just do so once per day. Just make sure you don’t have a bot working for you, we have ways of finding out at the back end.

  • Leave me a comment in the comments section of this post, telling me which is your favourite Hyatt property around the world. Just make sure you use your real name and a genuine email address which you use regularly for participating.
  • You could also Like my Facebook page and leave me a comment there.
  • You could also follow @LiveFromALounge and tweet with your reply, just make sure you use the #HyattLive hashtag. You don’t follow, your entry is not qualified.

Deadline: Do make your entry by August 30, 2013 by 2000 India Standard Time (1030 Eastern Standard Time / 1430 Greenwich Mean time)

Good to know: I will pick the winners using Random.org and draw 4 times to pick 4 different numbers on August 31, 2013. The Comments, Facebook entries and Twitter entries will be added together in that order. To receive the prize, you will need to provide me with your Hyatt Gold Passport number as well, so make sure you are a member before participating. Contest is open around the world, except for places where games of chance are prohibited by law. Feel free to drop me an email if you have any questions.   3. Grand Hyatt Kauai! Are there better value “cpp” redemptions, sure. Are there better landscapes and grounds? No. I’ll always love a cabana at the salt water pool!

  11. PH Paris; as its the only Hyatt I’ve booked or been to so far. I am going for 5 days in Nov and those points could sure be handy to upgrade to a suite!

  12. I have limited exposure to the Hyatt brand, but so far the Hyatt in New Orleans is my favorite. It was in a great location for taking in the “must sees” in New Orleans.

  13. Park Hyatt Dubai is INCREDIBLE. I highly recommend visiting if you are planning a trip there.

  14. Grand Hyatt Kauai. But might be headed to Palacio Duhau in Bs.As. Salud! to find out how great it is.

  15. Park Hyatt Goa. The award winning SPA is a must visit during your stay at this hotel. Lagoons are nice and clean, the beach is also very well maintained.

  17. Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée, France.. Buried in luxury, and has an awesome view of the bay.

  18. My favorite hyatt (and probably favorite hotel stay ever) was the Palacio Duhau in Bs.As. Salud!

  19. My favorite Hyatt so far is the Grand Hyatt Istanbul. Our stay there was simply wonderful.

  20. No one will believe this, but it’s Hyatt Sha Tin in Hong Kong. It’s just secluded enough to feel like you’re in a mountain retreat, but close enough to the city that it’s only 20 minutes to Mong Kok. It’s always affordable and I love HK.

  21. My favorite Hyatt that I’ve been to is the Park Hyatt Washington. I am sure there are better ones, but I haven’t been to any.

  22. My absolute favorite is the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa in Colorado. It elevated the quality of our snowboard and ski trip…..absolutely incredible!

  23. Current favorite Hyatt would be the Park Hyatt Maldives, but I’m looking forward to the Andaz Papagayo when it opens in Costa Rica!

  24. My favorite Hyatt property around the world is Dulles Hyatt Place North: 65 dollars/night(weekend)…can’t beat that whenever there is a big promotion to do Mattress Run

  25. My favourite Hyatt is in la Jolla. The building as well as the furniture was designed by the talented architect Michael Graves. Additionally the staff have always been extremely helpful kind and professional.
