JetPrivilege extending validity of miles for co-branded card holders

I just received a wonderful surprise from JetPrivilege in my email, something that maybe a lot of you would be receiving shortly or have already received as well.

JetPrivilege just sent out an email stating that the validity of all my JetPrivilege miles was being extended from 3 years to 5 years. I wasn’t ever worried about their expiry due to my JetPrivilege Platinum status, but seems like I have more time now even in case I don’t have Platinum status anymore.

The email states that you need to hold at least one active co-branded credit card to get yourself the 2 year extension of your mileage balance expiry. This means not just holding the card but having made at least one transaction on the card in the past twelve months.

While I did not know this could happen, I very much appreciate this new feature addition to JetPrivilege, which has recently rolled out many great features. The following credit cards are counted as co-branded cards by JetPrivilege:

This is a great customer-friendly move by JetPrivilege for those of us who want to accumulate rewards over a longer period of time, or need that time to accumulate enough rewards for a bigger family.

How do you feel about the new move from JetPrivilege?

  1. Hi Ajay,
I just got the Jet Amex Platinum. I already have the Citi Premier Miles and SBI AI Signature. Hardly fly on Jet but the joining offer is VFM hence got it. Between the Citi PM and Amex which is a better choice for spends ? Have pretty much done the 10l spend on SBI card so will let it cool off for now.
