Jet Airways’ American Express Platinum Co-branded credit card is one of the good cards in my wallet, largely because I use it for my Jet Airways’ purchases with 5% off, and also because of the access to the Amex Lounge in Delhi & Mumbai I have with the card. Over the past year, Amex has even put out more partners with the card, and you get more lounges and elite tier status for having this card.
American Express is offering a 25% bonus on the welcome miles they offer if you make an application between October 1 and October 31, 2015 for this card. This means, instead of the 10,000 JPMiles that you get in exchange of the INR 5000 (plus taxes) fees, you now have an opportunity to get another 25% bonus of 2,500 JPMiles if you sign up within this period. While there is a high chance of a better offer of 15,000 JPMiles in December, since I’ve seen that offer in the past years (2014), don’t count on it till it happens!
Overall, this is a great card product with good customer service, and I am happy with my Jet Airways Amex card since the past three years.
