Hello from north India where we are spending the long weekend with our family. Just as the long weekend is coming to an end, here’s a recap of everything we covered this week.

Aviation News

5 days ago, Brussels faced a terrorist attack where 2 blasts took place at the Zaventem airport. Unfortunately, at the time of the incident Jet Airways had four of its planes on ground and apart from airline crew approximately 1200 passengers were affected by the incident.

Other News

It appears that the Starwood M&A story is just not over yet. After the initial news of Starwood and Marriott merger we learnt that Starwood received an unsolicited bid from a Chinese investor. This week Marriott has sweetened the bid with a better offer and it appears that the merger is finally coming to a closure.

Our hearts and prayers go out for everyone affected by the terrorist attack. Here’s  wishing all our readers a happy Easter Sunday and we hope you had a safe Holi this year.
