  1. Had an amazing stay at Bali Hyatt before they closed for renovation a few years ago. Upgraded to their largest suite, had an amazing breakfast in their restaurant along with “dinner” in their Regency Club, and everyone knew my name. Too bad I’m no longer Diamond.

  2. My favorite stay at a Hyatt is the Grand Hyatt Taipei. Apart from a glorius view of Taipei 101, not many would know, this property of Hyatt is rumored to be on an ancient graveyard. It is also considered to be one of the most haunted hotels in the world. I like all my stays in hyatt properties, the room decor, food, the service, the amenities, rarely disappoint. But this particular stay came with an extra oomph of adventure. The multitude of ghost stories one can read on the internet about this hotel and the chinese writings at the reception makes one feel like being part of a horror movie. Every water drop and chair screech gives you a chill. I stayed for two whole weeks. Ofcourse I did not see any ghost. But its good to know i dared to stay in one the world’s most famous haunted hotels.

  3. Hello AJ,
Well, I have not stayed in Hyatt hotel yet.

So any Hyatt hotel experience would be great for me.

    Regards
    Santosh Gautam

  4. Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch San Antonio. Great one bedroom apartments. Great pool. Nice little bar. I stay there on business during the off season.

  5. Hyatt Regency McCormick in Chicago – Nice lobby spaces, plus it’s just far away enough for center city Chicago to have an amazing view of the entire skyline.

  6. I can’t recall a particularly memorable stay in a Hyatt; however, my partner and I are eagerly awaiting our wedding this August, after which we will plan to stay at the Hyatt Regency in Maui–hope it’s the bee’s knees!

  7. I became a diamond member earlier in the year with the status match! I have not stayed at a true Hyatt yet and hoping to do so soon. I know I will not stay at a Hyatt house again, that was not a good experience. I will be traveling before they expire and can use the passes, thank you for the chance!

  8. Park Hyatt Paris used my two free nights with free breakfast (was registered for diamond challenge at that time)

  9. I stayed at a Hyatt in the San Francisco Bay Area (you will see why it must remain anonymous). We sat at dinner with an ongoing screaming/crying toddler at the next table. The waiter could see we were getting more agitated by the incessant noise, and mentioned he would do something about it. The toddler eventually quieted down, and we later asked how he managed it. “A little champagne in the orange juice, just enough”…….he said. “I do it for all the criers.” Have to admit, it was effective. The parents just thought their “quieting skills” had improved.

  10. In the mid 2000s, Hyatt would run promotions where if you had two stays, you would get a free night anywhere. I had a three night reservation for a business trip at a Hyatt in San Diego. I ended up modifying my reservation so that I only stayed at the Hyatt for the first and third nights when a friend generously offered to let me stay with them for the second night. With the free night in my account, I looked at the Hyatt hotel directory and, urged by a former co-worker/friend who kept saying that we should go to Italy, started planning a trip. I had never visited Italy before. The first night’s stay would be at the Park Hyatt Milan. My former co-worker then inexplicably said she was not interested in going to Italy, so my mom went with me instead. I had only a vague idea where the hotel was located or what it was like (this is before I started reading travel blogs or doing much internet research on travel). When my mom and I finally found the entrance of the hotel after wandering around with our bags for around half an hour unable to find the address (we took the airport bus shuttle and then the subway), we were happy to go to our room after the long trip from California. Upon opening the door, my mom said, “The room smells so good!” It was, and remains to this day, the most luxurious and beautiful room that my mom or I have ever seen or stayed in. The bathroom was amazing. My family has always done budget traveling. It was such as treat and surprise for my mom and me. Even though it was over a decade ago, I still smile when I ask my mom, “Do you remember how nice the room at the Hyatt in Milan smelled?”

  11. Park Hyatt Paris was my first Park Hyatt and I fell in love with the decor, the scent, the statues and the gorgeous spa/relaxation area. The hot tub, tea and aroma definitely made it the best experience for me.

  12. I really like the Hyatt in Seattle (Olive 8). Really modern rooms and close to the up and coming SLU neighborhood.

  13. Park Hyatt Tokyo as a Diamond was amazing! Awesome breakfast each morning at Girandole, access to Club on the Park and drinks at the New York bar (at the time) made it feel like I was completely living the ‘Lost in Translation’ movie!

  14. We enjoyed a suite in the Park Hyatt with a diamond upgrade. The service was phenomenal, and we enjoyed the views of the creek.

  15. i’ve only stayed in a few hyatt, the most memorable one is the hyatt park in Salt Lake City’s Cottonwood. Why? Mainly cause of the excellent view of the Cottonwood canyon it has!

  16. Park Hyatt Seoul was the best stay I’ve done at Hyatt. I truly felt like James Bond here. The lit up signs right outside my floor to ceiling windows made me feel like I was on a movie set. The wood filled room was luxurious and comfortable and the daily fruit offering was fantastic.

  17. Hyatt in Casablanca because of the suite upgrade which provided us with an amazing room with an amazing view of Hassan II Mosque
