  1. I would redeem it for Hyatt Zilara Cancun and Visit Tulum Beach which I missed last time.

  2. I would like to spend a few days at the Park Hyatt Goa with my family! Having stayed at this property a couple of times in the past, I think that it’s one of the best properties that they have in their portfolio. Considering the fact that I have my daughter’s 1st birthday this year, my son’s 5th birthday and our 10th wedding anniversary, this would be the best opportunity to celebrate all milestones together.

Wouldn’t this be the best way to utilise 30K Hyatt Gold Passport points if I were win them?

  3. Would live to discover good life with my wife in the green landscapes and grey sky in the luxury of Park Hyatt, Goa!

  4. Hey Ajay & Shirpa,

  9. Maldives is very tempting, but a couple of nights at Coconut Point would be a nice weekend getaway.

  10. Me and my partner are getting married in September after being engaged for four years and we are using our Hyatt Points for a trip to Sydney Australia after a stop in L.A. and a stay at the Andaz West Hollywood!

  14. I would use the points to stay at the Park Hyatt Maldives – one of the jewels of the Park Hyatt brand and located on a private island with many private plunge pools!

  15. I would use the points to stay at the Park Hyatt Mallorca which is the new mountainside resort by the ocean and flaunts the Balearic Island’s (from the crowds found in capital city Palma) physical beauty and local food. The property itself is not on the coastline, but tucked a little more inland on the gentle slope of a mountain!

  16. I have a trip with my wife in November to Paris, I’d use these points and use the points + cash option to stay 2 nights at the Part Hyatt Paris Vendome, and use my suite upgrades to sweeten this deal!

  17. Happy Anniversary! If I won 30 000 Hyatt points I would use it for my stay in Hyatt Dushanbe which is a fantastic property for only 8 000 points a night!

  18. I would use it for my 1st anniversary for 2 nights at the Hyatt Place, Charleston and have 6,000 points left to use for a category 1 like the Greeneville Hyatt Place and the last 1,000 points would put towards my next trip.

  20. I fell into the pool, and sprained my ankle when visiting Grand Hyatt Bali, so I wasn’t able to enjoy my trip. I would like to go back.

  22. I would wait out award redemptions opening up at the new Park Hyatt in St Kitts and use them toward one of several nights there.

  34. I would use the points to help out with our European vacation this coming November. We are going to try and stay at the Park Hyatt Zurich and Mallorca.

  35. I would take these 30,000 points and add another 20,000 of my own to redeem for 2 free nights at the all-inclusive Hyatt Ziva Jamaica for my parents. They’ve never been to an all-inclusive their entire life so it would be a wonderful gift to them along with the bonus of travelling and spending quality time with their two grandchildren!

  36. I haven’t had a chance to stay at many Hyatt’s so I’d use the points to experience a few of the hotels to see if I need to switch my loyalty.

  40. Hi Ajay,
Since I became a frequent flyer, this blog has helped me to take decisions a lot time. Keep writing!

I was partially able to take advantage of Hyatt’s stay more play more promo and if I get 30K more, I’ll use it on my planned Euro trip, with Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome on top of my list.

  41. Gift my parents a Hyatt Maldives vacationas they really like that style of properties.

  42. Would love to take my wife and our 5 month old son on a vacation to Goa at the Park Hyatt Goa which has been on my ‘must visit list’ since I saw your reviews of the property. 53. I would have loved to use these points for an all inclusive stay at the Hyatt Zilara, Cancun . But then the T&C says, these have to be redeemed on Indian properties, where 2 nights @ Park Hyatt Goa (for a total of 30,000 points) becomes my obvious choice.

  54. Well for a family of 4, 30000 points is going to get me started, but not enough for a full holiday, so will probably use points plus cash for a stay at Maldives or Goa!!

  55. Given that an ideal Goa trip for me would be a combination of partying in North Goa, and time out for food and relaxation in South Goa, i would use these points to spend time in both parts of Goa. Hyatt Place in Candolim should serve as an ideal launchpad to venture out for poker sessions and club nights, while Park Hyatt would let me sit back and enjoy the sun-kissed beaches of Goa

  56. I would take my wife and my infant to Park Hyatt Goa, one of the best properties I have stayed. Would have tried Maldives but for the fact that young children are restricted on the water bungalows/villas as my friends have told me.

  58. i cycled through india for one year. yes, on a bike. the only city i didn’t go to was mumbai. and that’s where i’d use the 30k!

  59. I got married last November in Sri Lanka and am saving points for my first anniversary – hopefully at the Hyatt in the Maldives. Points accrued though this contest would definitely help in that regard.

  64. Either Park Hyatt Sydney or Maldives. Both of these hotels are top of my wish list! Interested in Hyatt Kathmandu if I ever return for a visit. Can’t go wrong with any Hyatt choice really.

  65. Either Park Hyatt Sydney or Maldives. These two are definitely on my hit list ;). Interested in the Hyatt Kathmandu also!

  66. I’d use the points to surprise my love with a trip to Hong Kong; there’s nothing like going on an adventure with the person you love.

  67. Congratulations to both of you for the 5th anniversary for this informative blog. I would like to spend those points to take my family to PH Maldives.

  68. For a water baby that I’m, It has to be Maldives! While 2 days can’t be our duration but it’ll definitely be added to our total stay length!!

  69. We’re planning a trip to Sri Lanka via Turkish Air, which stops in Male before going to Colombo. 30k Hyatt Gold Passport points will definitely help in booking a couple of nights at the Park Hyatt Maldives.

  70. Those pictures you have of the Park Hyatt Goa are spectacular. I would love to visit GOa some day and would definitely use it there.

  80. Hi Ajay,

I’ve been following your blog for over a year now and here goes my first comment!

I would use the 30000 HGP points to stay in Hotel du Louvre (Category 5). A standard room here typically costs 20000 HGP points per night. So I would be staying there 2 nights in Cash + Points.

I’ve been to the Louvre before and I did see the Hotel du Louvre right across the Louvre. However I did not know it belonged to Hyatt. Thanks to your giveaway, a little bit of digging and I was pleasantly surprised 🙂

I visited the Louvre and Paris while on a backpacking trip with a friend of mine in 2014. This trip was planned by us much earlier primarily to catch a glimpse of the Northern lights – but a few weeks before the trip, I met my wife and we started going out.

Me and my friend spent 4 days in paris going around Versailles, Paris city, Disneyland. We spent an entire day at Louvre ending it with a nice dinner at a restaurant called Le Musset by the Louvre.

I am planning on revisiting these places with my wife this year again and I plan on including Hotel du Louvre into our itinerary.

    Cheers,
    Murali

  109. Congratulations on 5 years! And here’s to many more – what a fantastic giveaway to mark the occasion. I would definitely check out the Hyatt Regency in London.
