ProTip: Book IndiGo Meals at 50% off

While I am not a frequent flyer of IndiGo, I do appreciate their cold meals a lot. They are pretty nice, and I’ve always appreciated their packaging which is very cool and funky.

Now, eating on planes is more like a pass time I guess, however, it is an important part of the experience still since commercial aviation started from full-service carriers and no-frill carriers are the current generation. I usually find the IndiGo meals pricy, but there is a way to save 50% off on those meals, straight up. Use the IndiGo Mobile App.

I recently booked up my mother for an IndiGo flight, and while I am more than certain she will be in time at the airport to be able to visit the lounge for a bit (using the Priority Pass), I wanted to ensure she’d not have to worry about a dinnertime meal if that was not the case. I also wanted to ensure she had a choice on the plane.

So I popped up her reservation on the IndiGo app, and quickly managed to add a meal combo (a drink and a cold meal) at 50% off.

This is something that has been around for a while, and if you’re a frequent IndiGo traveller, you should know about to ensure you get your fill on the plane first, and cheaper than everyone else!

  1. Well, it’s not working for me. The cost for same thing is being shown INR 250.

I think one has to book ticket in IndiGo app to avail this offer.

  2. Hey Ajay,
You and Shipra have been on a roll recently, with a lot of posts. How about a post on the credit card strategy?
