Over the past many years, I’ve met people all over the place. I’ve realised that when I started out, Miles & Points was less of a hobby and more of a good to know. However, over the years that has changed as the industry has moved closer to the global norm.

Bringing this bunch of like-minded people together was always the first goal of starting this site. I’m told Community is the word to use these days. And I’m only very happy to try and spend more and more time on building the community and bringing like-minded people together when I can.

And while the blog is a nice place for me to dispense information to you or my opinion. But I also want all of you to put your minds together and have a place of your own to ask questions, share ideas, and help each other.

One of the best ways to do this is via Facebook. So we set up a new private Facebook group called LFAL India Travel Lounge to get you all going. In the first bunch, about 70 people already signed up. So you have a place to ask your own questions now and have a fellow traveller answer them for you. This does not replace our existing Facebook page, but adds to the ability to keep channels open.

You could connect and share information, post your own hotel/airline reviews and get a chance to have them featured on the website and have access to member-only events which we plan to start in the future.

By keeping the group private, we have more control over who comes in. This helps us keep the spam and the trollers out and keep the environment of the discussion healthy.

Shipra and I would be approving each request to join, so do bear with us as we go through the requests and let you in.
