Terminal 2 Delhi Airport will get operational tonight

Delhi’s Terminal 2 is ready to go. While GoAir will be switching to operating flights from the Terminal 2 tomorrow onwards, the other carriers will (hopefully) join them in January 2018.

Here is a short video that Delhi Airport made about the Terminal. It looks like a cross between Terminal 1D and Terminal 3 to me, but very workable.

Of course, they did a preview for Hindustan Times as well, and there are tonnes of pictures:

GoAir will start having flight arrivals at Terminal 2 this evening onwards,

Tomorrow morning, G8-207 leaving for Lucknow at 5.25am will be the first to depart from Delhi Terminal 2.

So, if you’re on GoAir, get ready to use the new (old) Terminal 2 tomorrow (tonight) onwards. Delhi Airport will also provide free shuttle services between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 every 15 minutes.

  1. If there is not any lounge facilities in Terminal 2 in delhi then it is lesser category of railway platform.
Railways are better than airport T 2 delhi.

  2. Considering that this is in India, many of the self check in kiosks will not function and the staff will not have a clue about it. Hope the AC is better than the T3!
