AirAsia X has just announced the launch of a new route between Jaipur and Kuala Lumpur with effect from February 2018. AirAsia X is the long-haul low-cost airline from the AirAsia stable, which flies around the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa.

Unlike AirAsia’s usual narrowbody fleet, AirAsia X has widebody fleet, currently of A330-300 aircrafts which have 12 Premium Flatbeds and 365 Economy seats.

Now, from February 5, 2018, onwards, they will launch on the non-connected Jaipur-Kuala Lumpur route, and flights on this route are very very cheap to start with! The route will have the AirAsia X widebody planes and will operate three times a week. Here are the timings of the flights.

Having flown with the AirAsia narrowbody fleet a couple of months back for the first time, I can say I don’t fear the airline anymore. And at the fares they are offering, it is a steal deal.

Take a look, for instance on the Jaipur-Kuala Lumpur leg, where economy is going for INR 4000, and the premium flatbed going for INR 10000

On the return, the fares are even lower. Which means you can plan a Jaipur – Kuala Lumpur flight for one for less than 8000 INR if you book now. Visas can be issued online for $20 each, so you don’t even need to run around for those.

If you are out there for a premium-section, I find the deals even better because you get a much wider seat with the ability to sleep for the 5 hours, a duvet, meals inclusive and 40 kgs of baggage allowance as well.
