Vistara Redemptions at 30% off through February 2018

Vistara has announced a sale on redemptions and upgrades on various sectors for travel through February 2018. Vistara Redemptions and upgrades will be 30% discounted for the month. Here is how to get these Club Vistara Discounts.

The sale is not valid on all segments. The good part is the redemption is of all the classes. Also, Vistara does not charge fuel surcharges on redemption tickets so it is a good thing.

However, it seems, somewhere, someone made a mistake on putting up the upgrade chart. For instance, Mumbai to Delhi is 1250 CV points for upgrades to PEY, which is shown as 1500 PEY points. Maybe that is the way of things to come, but right now, the official upgrade redemption chart is showing 1250 points.

All you need to do is to log into your Vistara account and check for the redemption availability and make a redemption booking. The cost already shows up lower when you book on these sectors for these dates.

Having said that, this is is a promotion I won’t be able to use much since my travel in February is already committed. I upgraded my brother who travelled on February 3, but I still paid 1250 points for his upgrade!  The good part as compared to the December sale is that the airline is offering more inventory from other bases and not just Delhi. With this being the lean season, it helps to be able to offer such stuff.

Anyone planning a redemption on Vistara then?
