The legal battle for the ownership of Park Hyatt Goa is over. The Supreme Court of India on Monday decided that the original owner of the hotel had to hand it over to ITC within 6 months, and from there, we don’t know if this will be a Park Hyatt or an ITC Hotel.

InterContinental Hotel Group has added a new luxury brand to their portfolio, with their acquisition of 51% in the Asian hotel brand Regent. They intend to put this brand on top of the InterContinental brand in terms of luxury hierarchy and are starting with reflagging InterContinental Hong Kong to Regent Hong Kong.
