Jet Airways offering special fares and double miles on Mumbai-Paris-Mumbai

Last week, I wrote about the new long-haul flight from Jet Airways, which will be Mumbai – Paris – Mumbai, a daytime departure from India to get into Paris, and an overnight flight from Paris to Mumbai.

Jet Airways has announced special fares for this route for any dates, which will be available for purchase upto February 10 28, 2014. So if you like Paris in November, or in January, or in the summers, you can lock in your seats at INR 45,000 all inclusive for economy and INR 1,53,000 for business class already.

There is also more, the airline is offering double base miles for those who fly before July 13, 2014, which means you can net about 19000 JP Miles if you fly economy on this route round trip before this date (including 250 JPMiles for web-checkin and 500 JPMiles as online booking bonus per segment). If you have some sort of status with Jet Airways, you’ll get your tier bonuses as well.

And not to forget, if you book with any of the Jet Airways credit cards, you have an additional opportunity to earn miles on your credit card as well.

For redemption bookings, Jet Airways has put out one seat in economy and one in business class on all the flights, and Economy redemptions would cost you 54000 JP Miles + INR 30000 on the roundtrip. This is poor value for your redemptions and you’re better off buying the ticket at INR 45,000 then.

Jet Airways has announced the flight, and sent out communication to everyone on this as well. When Jet Airways had uploaded the flight into the Global platforms, they were offering the flight at a reduced price on these platforms and at a higher price on its own website. However, everything has been ironed out now.
