  1. I have not traveled extensively in India but have to choose the Lalit Ashoka in Bangalore for business because of the nice grounds and excellent service. In particular, I had an employee of the Hotel accompany me to the airport where he seemed to know all the police and airport staff so no hassle showing of itinerary to guards at the door, took me around the long lines up to an empty spot at the LH counter where a LH employee who seemed to know him came and opened a line just for me.

I wish it was a Hilton or Marriott so I could get points but someone else was paying so…

  2. It would have to be Fortube Inn Exotica, Pune, one of the best hotels i ever stayed in. Their service was just great and impeccable. While we were there my friend twisted her ankle and by the time we got back to the hotel it was about 1 am. The staff when they saw my friend limping asked about it and no sooner hsd we reached the room, they sent a hot bag along with pain killers, relis spray and a bandage. We were astonished with their hospitality and swore that we would stay there only whenever we came back to Pune.

  3. Got one of these for my mom and she loves it. I have an Anker 4 cell pack that’s a bit large for daily use, excellent for travel though. Happy Black Friday!

  7. ITC’s Fortune Select , Lavasa.
Is is nestled deep in the Sahyadri Mountains, around the 20 km long Warasgaon Lake. Contemporary decor along all with modern amenities is the reason why I like it. The 24 hours coffee shop is like icing on the cake

  9. well, i am a volunteer teacher here in barwadih, jharkhand. and there is a nice little family hotel here, clean, friendly, back up power generator, and even a tv. also a nice attached restaurant with truly authentic and delicious indian cuisine. it’s just called barwadih hotel. so it ain’t no marriot, it ain’t no ritz, and it sure ain’t got no glitz….but it sure is nice and local and suis my needs!

  10. Westin Garden city, Mumbai
I feel this is one of THE best hotels in any city.
Considering the size of rooms they offer in the base category itself.
Plus their food and service is unmatchable.
