Reminder: Last date for Marriott Rewards Elite Nights & Avios transfer bonus

It is September 30, 2016, and today is the last date for a few very important promotions. It is also the end of a quarter, so I am busy with a lot of other stuff, but I did want to send you all a reminder.

Marriott Rewards to offer Double Elite Nights Credit

Like I wrote in the post about this promotion, this promotion offers Marriott Rewards members the opportunity to get double elite night credits for stays made between June 06, 2016 to December 31, 2016. You need to register by today, however. Now that Marriott has Starwood in their fold, I am sure people are a lot more interested in being a Marriott Elite since it will help you get Starwood elite status as well.

Avios is the currency for British Airways Executive Club and they are currently offering a 50% bonus on transferring points from your Citi account to their account. This is the biggest bonus applicable in a long time. I broke the news here, and then Citi confirmed it later.  If you love your Avios, show some love here and act today!

So, if you are interested in any of the promotions, maybe the right time to signup, is now!

    • That’s right Chad. This article is meant for Citi cards issued by Citibank India. I wish this was true for Citibak NA. I have 100k+ TY points.

      @Ajay,
      may be you should start mentioning the country in your posts as you have followers from both the worlds. 🙂
