Jet Airways Sale: Upto 30% off on International flights + Domestic discounts

Update: Jet Airways has updated both the sales to be valid through January 31, 2017.

Jet Airways has launched a new sale to mark the Republic Day of India, where they are offering attractive fares on Domestic as well as international flights.

For International flights, Jet Airways is offering an upto 30% discount for booking tickets on the Indian website by January 27, 2017. The discount is available on base fare in Economy & Business Class from India on the international network. There are no restrictions on travel dates. While the offer page states you need to look out for specific fare classes (Première – P and I; Economy – W and O), I notice there is a discount across the board, even in First Class on flights which offer the F class.

For Domestic flights, the sale is longer and goes on through January 29. Fares are starting at INR 999. The sale is fare for the W fare class, which gets you a tier point but hardly any JPMiles. Travel needs to commence after February 9, 2017 and tickets must be purchased at least 15 days prior to departure. Yet again, I notice that while the advice is to discount in W fare class, all fare classes are offering the discounts, including business class.

I am still looking for the best deals on this sale and will post on that separately. However, if you find a great deal please do post in the comments section to help everyone.

Are you planning a flight or few in the coming months with the sale fares going on offer?

  1. Every now and then domestic carriers are in ‘sale mode’ but difficult to find great deals. Mostly low fare flights are during late nights so technically you’ll be paying more for airport transfer anyways. Looking foward for your post of best deals.
