How does this Etihad Free Stopover work?

Complete your booking as usual and have a confirmed economy ticket with a stopover in Abu Dhabi. Then, choose from participating hotels on the Etihad website and complete your stopover booking there. You can also book through your travel agent or Etihad’s destination management division – Hala Abu Dhabi. They recommend making your booking at least 3 days before travel in order for your request to be processed.

Hotel Options

At certain hotels, you’re able to have the option of 24hr check-in. This means that if you check-in at 7 pm, your check-out will be at 7 pm the next day. Keep in mind, the prices stated on the Etihad stopover booking portal are per person per night (including breakfast and service charge).  For example, a randomly chosen weekend in June 2018, let’s take a look at the Radisson Blu Hotel available with the offer and the price package comparisons.

Comments

  1. Hi, If I land at midnight can I check in immediately or do I need to wait for the morning to check in?
    I land on 15 Oct at 22h00
My booking is only from 16 Oct

  2. Does anyone know how you go about booking this? I have a 21-hour layover in August from South Africa to New York, but I can’t find any other information on this

  3. The article doesn’t list India as one of the countries in the ‘countries in the offer’. Is this offer applicable to Indians?

    • @Donald, this promotion specifically is not for Indian passengers. Although there is another one I guess where they give you one night free
