Free flights for booking hotels

The JetPrivilege loyalty and rewards program is one of the oldest Indian loyalty programs. While it was originally established about 24 years ago to be able to earn JPMiles for flights with Jet Airways, over the years, it has added over 150 partners to be able to earn JPMiles. You can earn JPMiles not just for flying with Jet Airways, but over 20 partner airlines, shopping, dining out and many other activities.

The best use of JPMiles is to redeem them for flights. You can redeem them not just for Jet Airways, but for 20 other partner carriers as well. These redemption flights, which cost JPMiles rather than money, are a great way to make a vacation or a last-minute work trip work out, without spending substantial cash out of pocket. Hence, we collect JPMiles at every opportunity. Especially since redemptions start at as less as 5000 JPMiles only.

When you book a hotel on hotels.jetprivilege.com, in India or abroad, you get access to the inventory of some of the best global OTAs such as Agoda, Booking.com, and homestays from Homestay.com. The inventory was recently boosted by the addition of Expedia and Hotels.com to the platform. What’s more, you can compare prices & JPMiles. You can also earn from different partners for the same hotel property you have selected, thus making a more robust choice!

  1. Hey Ajay / Shipra

Please let me know if I book stays using this portal for SPG properties, would the nights still count towards my annual nights qualification for platinum?

  2. quite agree with the above comment. JP miles are not flat like shown in some pictures in the post. Plus i have not yet got the miles credited for hotel bookings done and used in first week of May. Those were supposed to be with some bonus (jet airways hotel + some bonus for using livefromalounge). A month and half, Nothing as yet. These hotel bookings have earned me good miles in the past but somethings pretty inefficient this time around i think.

    • Absolutely! I completed 2 stays in May but the JP miles is not yet credited to my account. I’ve made the booking similarly(jet airways hotel + some bonus for using livefromalounge). According to the T&C, the miles have to be credited within June 5 for stays completed by May 31st. But still nothing happened. I’ve contacted JetPrivilege customer care multiple times, but still no luck!

  3. Ajay,

I made the same mistake on the miles earnings.

So the catch is that while the price quoted is the cheapest room rate, the ‘upto’ miles earning is the earning possible on the hotels most expensive room when calculated at 8miles/100.

Basically what you earn via portal is 8jpm/100 spent flat, which isn’t bad, but nowhere close to those listed numbers.
