Earlier this year, American Express was offering up to 30,000 Amex Membership Rewards points to add supplementary cardholders. American Express is out with an Amex Supplementary Card offer as of earlier this week for all their cardholders, where you can earn yourself Amazon shopping vouchers and Membership Rewards points for adding new supplementary cardholders.

Amex Supplementary Card Offer

The new promotion gets you Amazon shopping vouchers when you add new supplementary cardholders to your existing American Express Card account for these cards.

• American Express Platinum Charge Card: INR 2000 Amazon Gift Voucher per supplementary cardholder. You can add up to 4 additional cards for free.
• American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card: INR 1,500 Amazon Gift Voucher per cardholder added. You can add up to 4 additional cards for free.
• Jet Airways American Express Platinum Credit Card: INR 1,500 Amazon Gift Voucher per cardholder added. You can add up to 2 additional cards for free.
• American Express Platinum Travel Credit Card: INR 1,000 Amazon Gift Voucher per cardholder added. You can add up to 2 additional cards for free.
• American Express Gold Charge Card: INR 750 Amazon Gift Voucher per cardholder added. You can add up to 2 additional cards for free.
• American Express Payback Credit Card: INR 500 Amazon Gift Voucher per cardholder added. You can add one additional card for free.

There are also Membership Rewards points on offer for some other cardholders.

• American Express Membership Rewards Credit Card: 2000 bonus Membership Rewards Points for every new cardholder added. You can add up to 2 additional cards for free.
• American Express Gold Credit Card: 2000 bonus Membership Rewards Points for every new cardholder added. You can add one additional card for free.
• Everyday Spend American Express Gold Credit Card: 2000 bonus Membership Rewards Points for every new cardholder added. You can add up to 2 additional cards for free.

The promotion was launched on December 20, 2018, and will be on offer for cardholders who apply to add new supplementary cards till March 31, 2019June 30, 2019 You will need to send in some documents for these add-on cardholders, and they need to be issued by Amex by July 30, 2019. Usually, it takes ten business days to issue add-on cards after you provide the necessary papers. Expect your bonuses by September 30, 2019. Here is the T&C.

I think this promotion is excellent when combined with another promotion for the American Express Membership Rewards Credit Card or the Everyday Spend American Express Gold Credit Card, both of which are possible to get lifetime free at the moment.
