British Airways is celebrating their 100th this year, and they are doing some great stuff to celebrate their centenary of flying. They started with some great retro liveries, then moved on to introducing the new Club Suite. From there, they have now launched the British Airways Double Avios promotion for 2019.

British Airways is offering a 100% bonus on Avios for your next six flights on the airline through December 31, 2019. You need to register before you book, and then book your tickets between now and April 19, 2019, for travels by December 31, 2019.

The promotion from British Airways is valid for travel on BA’s own flights, including those within the UK, flights on Comair, and BA’s joint venture flights, marketed by British Airways but operated by American, Iberia and Finnair, between Europe and North America. When you complete 6 eligible flights, you will earn an additional 2019 Avios to mark the culmination of the promotion.

The 100% bonus will post along with your flights posting, and the additional 2019 Avios should come in in no time after the 6th flight. BA is good with their systems like that.

This is a great promotion from British Airways, and I think everyone should sign up for the promotion and book their travel for the rest of the year right away on BA if they know about their plans at the moment. You should credit your longer flights to BA, and to shorter flights to other programmes if you have more than 6 flights on BA, to ensure you get the most out of this promotion.
