How to get your Etihad Airways JPMiles award ticket rebooked?

Last week, Jet Airways shut down operations, which also led to JetPrivilege suspending redemptions on Jet Airways and all partner airlines. However, one partner airline which is still honouring award tickets issued to JetPrivilege members is Etihad Airways. If you had an Etihad Airways flight booked with JPMiles, you can still continue to use that reservation, due to the fact that Etihad Airways is a part owner of JetPrivilege, and they have made new arrangements to help you use those tickets.

If you have an existing booking on JPMiles for Etihad, which is a ticket issued by Jet Airways (e-ticket number issued starting with 589-), you can call up Jet Airways or JetPrivilege, or just send a direct message to Jet Airways on Twitter along with the details of your ticket, asking them to reissue your ticket. You should have a new Etihad Airways issued ticket (starting with 607-) come back in your email, usually within 24 hours. Your sector will continue to remain the same, but your PNR and ticket number will change.

This is being done free of charge. So, if you have any upcoming travel on Etihad Airways booked with JPMiles, go ahead and get it rebooked at the earliest.
