Deal: Marriott Resorts in India offering all-inclusive packages through September 30

Marriott is offering quite a few promotions this summer for its customers in India and South Asia. While there is a 20% Summer Discount promotion available for booking through June 2019, there is also another promotion that was launched by Marriott recently, which focusses on an all-inclusive package on offer. These looked quite tempting and forced me to have a look.

Marriott has designated 12 of their resorts at 7 locations in India, Bhutan and Sri Lanka, where you can book for a minimum of two nights for an all-inclusive stay.

Marriott Resorts in India

The inclusions on these stays are:

  • Breakfast, Lunch & Set Dinner
  • Free Stay for Kids under 12
  • Free meals for Kids under 12
  • Complimentary Laundry for the kids

The resorts which have these rates available are some of the top-notch resorts of Marriott in India/South Asia, and are on my list for a while:

  1. WeligamaBay Marriott, Sri Lanka
  2. Le Meridien Paro, Bhutan
  3. JW Marriott Mussoorie (Review)
  4. W Goa (Brief overview)
  5. Goa Marriott Resort & Spa
  6. Le Meridien Jaipur Resort & Spa
  7. JW Marriott Jaipur Resort & Spa
  8. Jaisalmer Marriott Resort & Spa
  9. Westin Pushkar Resort & Spa
  10. Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa
  11. Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa (Review)
  12. Le Meridien Goa Resort & Spa

Given one of my favourite kind of vacations is to just check-in and bum around the resort for a couple of days, something I’ve perfected over the years to uncompress from the daily life of a busy city guy, these offers definitely caught my eye and I poked around a little more and the offer looks to be good. For instance, I was looking around for a stay this weekend. The Mahabaleshwar resort, which was selling at INR 25K per night for just bed and breakfast (ex taxes), was selling for INR 27,750 + GST for an all-inclusive package.

But here is the surprise. If you book with an American Express card, you also get a shot at a Suite upgrade, subject to availability when you check-in. I’m investigating this offer for my self at the moment.

The all-inclusive promotional price is available for booking till July 15, 2019, for stays through September 30, 2019. You can check it out at Marriott.com and search with the Promo code 2AL to get the rate.

But that is not all. You can choose to opt for destination-specific activities during your stay. Adventure seekers can experience activities like Swimming with rare turtles at Weligama Bay while offbeat travellers can set out on an Organic Farm Trail at Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar. While visiting Westin Pushkar and JW Mussoorie you can enjoy a Floating Breakfast or indulge in a Meal by the Stream. Properties like Goa Marriott and Jaisalmer Marriott make up the ultimate gastronomic paradise. You can appreciate a beautiful outdoor dining experience or a royal dining experience.  The experiences are sold separately, and I’ve heard some good stuff about some of them, such as the Floating Breakfast and Meal by the Stream, but haven’t had the opportunity to try them out yet.

All in all, a great all-inclusive promotion which you should try out if you would be likely to make a vacation stay in the coming days at a Marriott Resort in or around India.

  1. this sounds more like Full Board and not All Inclusive. Ideally All inclusive will include food, drinks soft/alcoholic and resort activities.

    • @theflyingsikh, apart from alcoholic beverages and minibar etc, most stuff included. Resort activities too. Only special experiences need to be bought. Thoughts?

      • Still doesn’t make it an all inclusive. The biggest pull factor in an all inclusive is soft and alcoholic beverages. This is only a step up from full board. If it was an all inclusive Marriott would market this accordingly.

  2. That’s a sweet deal! I’m just 4 nights away from titanium elite for this year. 2 nights each at Jaipur & Jaisalmer with the above offer would do. Besides, platinum elite 5 nights suite upgrade is still unused. Thanks for sharing Ajay! good day.
