Hyatt Regency Mumbai, the airport-side 5-star hotel of the Hyatt in Mumbai, has shut down operations till further notice. This appears to be due to a non-provision of funds, even to pay salaries to staff at the moment.
Hyatt Hotels’ prime property in Delhi, the Hyatt Regency Delhi, has lost the Hyatt flag. It is unclear about who will operate the property in the coming times at the moment.
The Hyatt chain has recently added a new property in India, this time, a Hyatt Regency in Ahmedabad. After a nice stay at Hyatt Pune, I decided to hop across to Hyatt Regency Pune, the older and bigger brother in the Hyatt family in Pune, which is 1 kilometer away across the road for the second day of my Pune stay.
