Mumbai Miles & Points Meetup on October 7, 2017

Earlier this week, we sought your inputs on organising the first Mumbai Points & Miles meetup. About half of those who voted suggested they’d like to come in on Saturday, October 7 at a central location such as in West Mumbai. Given it is Oktoberfest time, what better place to get people together at a taproom, eh?

So, we booked up a whole set of tables at the newly-opened Doolally Taproom in Khar to get this going. We are looking at starting at 12:30 pm and carry on through the rest of the afternoon.

The idea is to come around and grab a drink or a snack or a meal (buy your own!), meet other fellow travel enthusiasts and status/mile/point collectors and see how we can grow further as a community. I’d encourage you to bring your spouses and/or friends along, even if they don’t connect with the hobby.

After all, it is all about introducing everyone to ways to travel as they’d never imagined before. If you’re a newbie, don’t worry, come along and do not worry about only geek talk floating around. In Bangalore, we had so many people who would not believe in the hobby till they turned up.

To sum up, here are the essential details:

  • Date: 7 October 2017
  • Time: 12:30 onwards
  • Address: 10 A Rajkutir, E854, 3rd Road, Khar West, Ram Krishna Nagar, Khar West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400052 Map

I’ve set up an RSVP form, and this would help me gauge the number of people coming, as well as make a giveaway happen as well. While everyone is invited to join, those who pre-register could win some cool prizes.

I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone and put a face to all those names. So who all are coming?

Mumbai, see you on October 7, 2017!
