Deal: Amazing Sales on at all domestic airlines (Vistara, Jet Airways, Indigo)

It is Valentines Day yet again, and this is yet another occasion for the airlines to run a sale. Overall good news for all of us in case we want to be travelling anytime soon. So, here we go…

Jet Airways

imageJet Airways is first of the block with a sale, which is offering INR 999 onwards fares across the country. The tickets need to be booked on direct flights only and not on one-hop flights. While ticketing on this sale is open between today and February 17, 2017, you can only travel after March 1, 2017. Look out for a booking in W class to be able to book your seat, and remember you will not get lounge access, or many JP Miles for these tickets. You can book on the Jet Airways website, or on Yatra.com, Cleartrip, Expedia, MakeMyTrip or Musafir.

Vistara

Vistara launched a sale as well, with the booking dates for the same period till February 17, and Travel period from February 28, 2017 onwards to September 20, 2017. If you are a Club Vistara member you can get another 10% off for CV members by using a promocode CV10. You can book tickets by logging into your Club Vistara account and searching for tickets then. As usual, you can also book via Yatra.com, Cleartrip, Expedia, MakeMyTrip or Musafir.

Spicejet

Spicejet calls it the Pre-Summer sale, not going after the positioning that the full-service carriers are asking to make it about the Valentine’s day. Their fares start at INR 798, and you can book via the airline website, or via Yatra.com, Cleartrip, Expedia, MakeMyTrip or Musafir. The tickets are valid for sale through February 17, 2017 and travel between February 28, 2017 and September 20, 2017.

Indigo

Indigo is also selling flight tickets on the cheap, but does not make it very explicit on the website. You can buy tickets from INR 844 onwards. Except, your tickets are valid for booking till February 17, 2017 and travel between February 13 and April 27, 2017.

For the best price comparison, you should use the OTAs, but for the Vistara 10% discount go direct to the airline. Also, Air India, no sales on that one yet! Nor on GoAir.

Are you booking some tickets to some travel destinations yet?

  1. Hi

Wanted your opinion on this. I’m booking a family Europe holiday via Yatra. Total billing will be in multiple lakhs. How to derive the best mileage out of this spend?
