Etihad’s 15th Anniversary Sale: Discounts and free nights at Abu Dhabi!

Etihad Airways turns 15 this year. As part of Etihad’s anniversary celebrations, the airline is offering discounted tickets and free stopovers in Abu Dhabi.

Etihad Anniversary Sale

Get 15% off when you book a trip on Etihad Airways through November 12, 2018, for travel between January 15 and June 30, 2019. Every country gets a list of 15 destinations from where you could book discounted tickets. Make sure you book directly on Etihad’s website to avail this offer.

Apart from discounted tickets, everyone also has a chance to do a two-night stopover at Abu Dhabi for free. To avail this promotion you have to have an onward economy or business class ticket from Abu Dhabi. The hotels which are on offer include:

  • Radisson Blu Yas Island
  • Holiday Inn Downtown
  • Crowne Plaza Yas Island
  • Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Centre
  • Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi
  • Le Royal Meridien
  • Ramada Corniche

I strongly suggest you first check the availability of a room at your desired hotel on Etihad’s portal first. Once you know that there is space, go ahead and book your air tickets. Once that’s done, book your free stopover. While the booking is free, you have to pay AED 15/night at the hotel. You can read the rest of the terms and conditions of the free stopover promotion here.

I looked up for fares on the Mumbai – New York route in Economy during the promo period. The price of a round trip came out to be around INR 73,000. On the other and, a one-way multi-city ticket on the Mumbai – Abu Dhabi – New York leg with a two-night stopover was priced at INR 47,500.

Etihad’s anniversary offer is a decent offer if you are looking for discounted tickets.
